1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide directly — name, phone number, email, and business details if you register as a pharmacy owner or wholesaler. Pharmacy and wholesaler accounts also provide payout details (bank or mobile money account for your Paystack subaccount) and, for wholesalers, licence documents (FDA Wholesale Dealer Licence, RGD certificate, TIN and VAT certificates, Ghana Card) submitted during onboarding. We also collect location data (to find pharmacies near you), order, reservation and restock history, and any prescription images you upload during checkout.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to operate the Pharmly service: matching you with nearby pharmacies, processing reservations and online orders, verifying prescriptions, routing pharmacy restock orders to wholesalers, handling payments and payouts via Paystack, and sending order-related notifications.
3. Sharing With Pharmacies & Wholesalers
When you reserve or order medication, relevant order details and any uploaded prescription are shared with the specific pharmacy fulfilling that order, so they can verify and prepare it. When a pharmacy places a restock order, the order details are shared with the wholesaler fulfilling it. Neither pharmacies nor wholesalers see your other activity on Pharmly.
4. Payout & Banking Information
Bank or mobile money details submitted to set up a pharmacy's payout subaccount are sent directly to Paystack to enable instant payment splitting on online orders. Pharmly retains only the subaccount reference needed to route future payments — we do not store full account credentials or card details.
5. Data Security
Prescription uploads, licence documents, and personal data are stored using Supabase's secure infrastructure with access-controlled storage buckets. Payment processing is handled directly by Paystack — Pharmly does not store your card details.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting our support team. Deleting your account removes your profile and reservation history, subject to records we're required to retain for legal or financial compliance.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use local storage to remember your session and theme preference. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
